1. Neil, first of all, congratulations on being selected again. From "Eggie" to "DanDan," cats have been the main visual focus, but there are some differences in the main image. Could you share with us your creative ideas or if there is any connection between them?
Actually, both "Eggie" and "DanDan" refer to my tabby cat named "Eggie." The artwork "Eggie" portrays the realistic appearance of "Eggie," while the recent piece "DanDan" presents it in a more cartoonish style. Perhaps in the future, there will be opportunities to depict "Eggie" in various other ways.
2. "Eggie" has received a lot of support from friends. Has it had a positive impact on your creative mindset?
It's true that receiving strong support from friends and family has brought me a lot of confidence. Additionally, seeing internet users from different countries and cultures enjoying "Eggie" makes me very happy.
3. From "Eggie" to "DanDan," black and white have been the main color scheme. In the future, would you consider adding more vibrant colors if you continue with the same creative approach?
It seems like a good idea to try different colors next time. That way, everyone can see the true colors of "Eggie."
4. For Winter 24, it will be divided into different themes and styles. Will you continue to focus on the comic style, or would you like to try different styles?
Currently, I don't have any ideas for Winter 24 yet. It's possible that I might want to try different styles by then. Hopefully, friends who enjoy "Eggie" can also look forward to it.
5. Is there anything else you'd like to share with everyone?
Thank you, VAXEE, for continuing to organize such events. They provide our cat with plenty of pocket money to buy canned food and toys. Looking forward to the next gathering with everyone!
